JOB DESCRIPTION

In-house Full-Cycle Bookkeeper required for a successful and well-established importer / marketer of Wines & Spirits business (over 25 years working with LCBO). The candidate should be available 2-3 days per week, the position is primarily a bookkeeper role, and has the potential to develop to a full time role with the right candidate.

The role is for 16 to 30 hours weekly and we are flexible on days and times between 8:30 and 5:30.

Requirements:

• Full-cycle accounting using Quick Books Pro, a must.

• Experience with receivables, cost recoveries and working with foreign currencies accounts (No payroll, this is outsourced)

• Strong analytical skills, forecasting, promotional budgeting + managing event expenditures

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on EXCEL

• Previous working experience in a small office environment and the ability to work independently and in a team environment        is key! Someone with a love for numbers + people!

• Written and spoken English a must (French/Italian/Spanish useful)

• Experience with LCBO and/or the Wine & Spirits industry would be beneficial

• Knowledge of iSupplier, NISS, MPTS is an asset

• Canadian accounting experience is required

Job Type: Part-time could develop to FULL TIME with skill set and admin marketing experience

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 ++ per hour
