As wine regions go, Margaret River is a real wonderwall. Nature, beaches, rugged beauty and world class wines. This Shiraz comes alive here and this wine perfectly represents the region. The fruit was harvested in the cool hours of the morning, fermented in French and American oak, and aged 12-18 months before being blended and lightly refined prior to bottling. Best to drink now or cellar 5-8 years.
Today is gonna be the day that you’re gonna (re)kindle your love affair with Margaret River Shiraz. Ripe blackberry, blueberry, red cherry and black pepper paint a vivid taste-scape, while earthy and mineral tones add further complexity. By now, you should’ve somehow realized what you’ve got to do: pick up a bottle of this wine. After all, it’s Wonderwall. (Vintages panel, April 2017)
Born amongst the surf, nature and rugged beauty of Margaret River, Wonderwall set out to make wines that reflect how unique this area is; showcasing varietals that embrace the wonderous nature of the region.
